Cover Love: part 66 – Silhouette heads

They say you can never have a second chance to make a good first impression. A book’s cover does just that – gives a first impression. A good cover can make a reader pick up a book. A bad cover can leave the book at the very bottom of a dusty pile.

The covers of novels entice the reader to enter a different world. Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks‘ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.

In my 66th installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you books that feature head silhouettes on their covers. These encompass a wide variety of genres and are much more prevalent that you might think. Enjoy! Most of these titles I chose only for their covers.
I’ve read three of these – and a few more are on my TBR.
Some, perhaps, will now be on your TBR!

Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from Goodreads.
You might just find your next favorite book!

Are you tempted by any of these covers?
Have you read one of these titles and absolutely LOVED it?

Please let me know in the comments.

If you have a few minutes, visit any of the previous installments of
Cover Love – some of which I’ve updated recently.

  6. Redferne Lane is excellent. Another for your collection could be Betsy and Lilibet by Sophie Duffy which is one of my books of the year.

Never knew this was such a common thing! I’ve got to admit it makes for a pretty striking image.

    • True enough Cynthia. It does catch the eye, which I’m sure the publisher appreciates. It takes me months to compile enough covers for each of these posts – though this one was easier than some.
