Bookish art of Linda Lee Nelson

As followers of my blog know, I occasionally compose a post about art with bookish themes. Bookworms will agree that the next best thing to reading books is looking at pictures of books. LOL

For this post I am featuring the art of Linda Lee Nelson.

Linda Lee Nelson has been painting unique commission work and works for sale since 2002. Her work has won several awards from notabel organizations as the Oil Painters of America, and the Portrait Society of America, and her award most recently won was Best In Show at the 2012 Arts In Harmony Exhibition in Minnesota. Linda was a finalist in the prestigious ACOPAL Contemporary American & Chinese Realism Exhibition.

Linda; your drawings are exquisite! I adore art ( grew up loitering the Philadelphia Art Museum–home of Rocky and the Rodan Museum, and The Andrew Wyeth Museum in Brandywine); gasp, your work has a definite Rockwellian character———gorgeous! 🙂
