Cover Love: Part 19 – Cupped hands

Dustjackets entice the reader to enter a different world. Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks’ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.

In this, my nineteenth installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you books that feature cupped hands on their covers.
Some I’ve already read, some are on my ‘to read’ list,
and some I chose only for their covers.

Some, perhaps, will now be on your TBR!

I was surprised to see just how many books used cupped hands on the covers.  Thanks to Jill (from Jill’s Book Cafe) for this suggestion for my “Cover Love” series.

Unlike the last Cover Love post (Hearts) which covered just about every fiction genre, this time I was curious to note that most, but not all, of the covers with ‘cupped hands’ are women’s fiction.

Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from  Goodreads.

You might just find your next favorite book!

  1. Hurray! I’ve been looking forward to this one. It’s the cupped hands that started me on the road of comparing book covers – you have done this one justice and found some I haven’t seen. xx
