Cover Love; part 11 – Autumn leaves

I find myself attracted to certain kinds of covers.  Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks’ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.

In this, my eleventh installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you books from my Goodreads lists that feature autumn leaves on their covers.
Some I’ve already read, some are on my ‘to read’ list.

Autumn is my favorite time of year!
I thought this the perfect time to display some great books that share some of autumn’s beauty on their covers.

Just click on the cover to read the book’s synopsis from  Goodreads.

You might just find your next favorite book!

I love all of these covers!!! I’ve noticed that Louise Penny’s often uses seasonal scenes on her covers and have always liked them. I’m also a big fan of Autumn colours so particularly love this installment of your Cover Love series. Keep ’em coming!!!

I love your posts on covers! I should have a Q & A on my blog with a cover designer soon, will be interesting to get some inside info on the process of getting them to the finished product.

I would be very interesting in reading your blog post with the cover designer. Also… I’ve often wondered why different countries choose different covers and sometimes even different titles for the SAME book.
