Cover Love part 7: Piers

I find myself attracted to certain kinds of covers.  Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks’ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.

In this, my seventh installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you fourteen books from my Goodreads lists that feature piers on their covers.
Some I’ve already read, some are on my ‘to read’ list.

Having a pier on the cover is a great ‘hook’ for a fiction book.

You greet new friends on piers, and say goodbye to some others.

You leave your own world behind and enter a new one…

You leave piers and go on adventures!

Just click on the cover to read the

book’s synopsis from

Goodreads.

You might just find your next favorite book!

Lynne, outstanding post! Not only are these gorgeous covers, but there are a lot of titles here that I am not familiar with. I’ m going to have fun looking them up!

Ahhhh! I adore lighthouses, and I have also explored quite a few in New Jersey.

Yes. I love lighthouses too. Nova Scotia has many and I grew up just a few miles from the iconic Peggy’s Cove.

I knew you liked Lighthouses because one is featured on your blog. Before I moved, I had a collection of lighthouses ( post cards, posters, graphics, my daughter bought me a lighthouse made of clay). They are very mysterious and have a history ( I personally believe they must be haunted). Now I have another list of books to add to my TBR list and I also send this to a close friend.

Thanks for sharing my blog posts. The lighthouse on my blog is Peggy’s Cove lighthouse – a really popular tourist attraction and a symbol of my home province.

The lighthouse on your blog is wonderful. I have a close friend, originally from Belgium, who travels to Canada frequently, and she and her husband adore Nova Scotia, too. I share your titles and reviews with another friend, who is also on Good Reads, but is very silent; however, she reads everything I suggest.
Have you ever read The Light Between Oceans by Stedman?
