Cover Love : Part 5 – Lakes

I find myself attracted to certain kinds of covers.  Covers are, after all, the way the publisher ‘hooks’ the reader into choosing one book over countless others.

In this, my fifth installment of ‘Cover Love‘, I’d like to show you books from my Goodreads lists that feature lakes on their covers and/or in their titles.
Some I’ve already read, some are on my ‘to read’ list.

Having a lake on the cover is a great ‘hook’ for a fiction book. You have only to look at the photo above to get the feeling of relaxation and serenity that a lake can provide.  Lakes can also be menacing… and that is fun too!

Just click on the cover to read the

book’s synopsis from

Goodreads.

You might just find your next favorite book!

lake of sorrows

white lie

Summit Lake

the lake house

iron lake

night blindness

lake

glass lake

crow lake

blackwater lake

wilde lake

secret by the lake

Stay tuned for Cover Love: part 6 – Jars
